I can disappear anytime I want to

Tom, I'm not trying to be a shitster in saying this but the attitude towards the X-men from Marvel is simply too pervasive to ignore. I don't read rumor sites, I don't go out of my way to find incriminating shit on Marvel but when I see X-men nixed from promo material & merchandise & comics and everyone is talking about it, I just can't "ignore it". It's become so distractingly evident in everything Marvel does. It's extremely palpable. Even if it's not your department, it's still your concern.

The world being flat is not my concern.

How many X-Men launches did we just announce?

Except that it’s not a conspiracy. The X-Men have been removed from all merchandise. Marvel is trying to remove them from public view.

I remember I added up the number of X-Men titles and Spider-Verse titles back in 2014, when Marvel wouldn’t let the X-Men have a dedicated panel at San Diego Comic Con outside the Avengers but gave the Spider-Verse its own panel.

X-Men had 4 more comics going than Spider-Verse; exact total is hazy in my memory, but I believe it was around 12. Definitely double digits. If I’d counted Deadpool, the number would’ve been even higher.

Now the X-books are cut down to about 6 (again, not counting Deadpool).

So, to say “How many X-Men launches did we just announce?” is sort of like saying “You’re absolutely right, check out how we cut the number we’re selling by half out of nowhere.”

I just love the last line
